Shazib Jamil

Shazib Jamil brings over two decades of pharmaceutical industry experience to Societal CDMO, currently serving as Vice President of Supply Chain. With a strong background in materials management and supply chain for early-stage development through commercial operations, Shazib has championed an increase in on-time, in-full (OTIF) client delivery metrics as well as an emphasis on the management of risk within the supply chain since joining Societal in 2016.

Before joining Societal, Shazib was a managing partner and founding member of a supply chain consulting group catering to the supply chain needs of small to midsize pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare-related organizations. Shazib’s diverse career history includes working in technical operations at Hoffmann-La Roche and managing the trade relations and distribution groups at Barrier Therapeutics, a startup dermatology-focused organization.

Shazib holds a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain and Finance from Rutgers University and a Master in Public Health from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences).
